Western Kentucky University has announced plans to offer an educational leadership doctoral (EdD) degree at its Owensboro Regional Campus. The program will be available beginning Summer 2010 and will feature four specialized tracks: P-12 Administrative Leadership, Postsecondary Leadership, Teacher Leadership and Organizational Leadership.
Hollison Technologies, a start-up biotechnology company headquartered in Owensboro’s Centre for Business and Research, has been awarded $200,000 from the Kentucky Science and Technology Corp. Hollison specializes in products and services that detect and identify food contamination, such as salmonella, e.coli and pesticides.
