Nominations Being Accepted for 2008 American Business Awards

By wmadministrator

Entries are being accepted for the sixth annual American Business Awards, which serve to honor exemplary performances in business, from top executives and organizations to sales teams and support staffers.

The awards program is open to organizations of all types – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small.

Entries may be submitted in dozens of categories, ranging from “Best Executive” to “Most Innovative Company.” In a nod to corporate America’s focus on “green,” the 2008 awards will present an award in the new Best Environmental Responsibility Program category to honor companies making changes internally or in their communities to improve the environment. Other new categories in 2008 include “Best Management Team,” “Best PR or Communications Campaign,” and “Best PR Agency.”

Nicknamed “The Stevie” for the Greek word “crowned,” the awards will be presented at a gala and nationally broadcast ceremony in New York City on June 12.
