Some of the nation’s finest stamp collections will be on display, from a historic inverted Jenny stamp and letters from Salem Massachusetts dating back to 1787, to more modern displays of Walt Disney and the Magical World of Harry Potter stamps.

The event will offer educational seminars, such as Stamp Collecting 101 for beginners, where experts will walk you through the basic tools and techniques. For the more advanced attendees, there will be seminars on how to recognize forgeries, postal history and many other topics.

There will be a Youth Zone where kids can learn the basics of the hobby, go on a stamp scavenger hunt and create a stamp story.

The American Philatelic Society is the largest non-profit for stamp collectors. For more information, click here.
