UpTech was born out of an intentional effort by Northern Kentucky leaders to be proactive in attracting and retaining talent in the region. Its services include:

♦ An equity investment of $50,000

♦ Six months of free office space

♦ An executive mentor

♦ A dedicated team of essential business professionals providing financial, law, accounting, sales and marketing support services

♦ One-year NKY Chamber of Commerce membership

♦ One-year Greater Cincinnati Venture Association membership

♦ Access to resources from Northern Kentucky University’s Center for Applied Informatics and student interns

♦ Additional follow-on funds will be available to successful companies who need additional funding to advance their ideas further.

“UpTech is seeking driven entrepreneurs who want to proceed with their idea at an accelerated pace,” said Amanda Greenwell, program manager. “Our goal is to take an idea and turn it into a product that will attract customers by the end of our six-month program.”
