Annual awards recognize, celebrate and inspire small businesses
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (July 26, 2013) — Greater Louisville Inc. – the Metro Chamber of Commerce announced the finalists for its 2013 Inc.credible Awards on Friday at its Wake Up Wind Down breakfast event.
The Inc.credible Awards recognize small businesses that are spurring the Greater Louisville region to growth. Winners in eight categories will be announced at the 2013 Inc.credible Awards Luncheon on Friday, Aug. 23, at the Galt House.
“Small businesses are central to the health of our local economy,” said Craig J. Richard, president and CEO of Greater Louisville Inc. “They make up more than 99.7 percent of all employers and provide jobs to more than half of all private sector workers nationally. We’re excited to have this opportunity to recognize and celebrate their achievements and contributions to our region.”
Entries for the awards are judged on business and civic leadership, community involvement, management practices and overall financial performance by a panel of business leaders judges.
