Portion of Aug. 2 proceeds to go to Friends of the Kentucky
LEXINGTON, Ky. (July 28, 2014) — West Six Brewing is hosting 6th for a Cause from 3-7 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 2. A minimum of 6 percent of the day’s proceeds will be donated to the Friends of the Kentucky in support of renovations to the concession area at the Kentucky Theatre.
Friends of the Kentucky volunteers will be on hand to provide information on recent upgrades and the planned improvements, sell T-shirts and theatre seat sponsorships, and provide free popcorn (donations encouraged).
In addition, a raffle will be held for four passes to see the 30th anniversary release of the Talking Heads concert film “Stop Making Sense” at the Kentucky Theatre. This year marks the flick’s 30th anniversary.
