Search begins for Kentucky Horse Park executive director

Ted G. Nicholson serves as interim executive director

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 14, 2014) — The search for a new executive director of the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington is under way.

The Kentucky Horse Park Commission is looking for a new executive director for the 1,200-acre equine park that includes competition venues, museums and a campground.

The Kentucky Horse Park Commission selected Ted G. Nicholson as the interim executive director of the Kentucky Horse Park following the retirement of John Nicholson on April 30. Ted Nicholson began his tenure in May and will serve until a permanent executive director is hired.
