Bluegrass Workforce Summit to offer tips to area businesses

Event is Sept. 5 in Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Aug. 21, 2014) — Jerry Bridge, founder and president of LifeWorks Education, believes that companies that have bought into the idea that highly motivated, engaged, healthy employees can make the difference between profit and loss, success and failure.

Workforce Summit 2014 LogoBridge will share his message of success on Sept. 5 during the third annual Bluegrass Workforce Summit in Lexington.

Each year, the summit offers businesses and organizations in the 17-county Bluegrass Region training opportunities covering a wide-range of workplace issues.

This year, with Bridge’s presence, the summit will focus on building a healthy, motivated, productive workforce.

Bridge, a trainer, coach and consultant who for 25 years has helped employers connect the dots between performance at work and fulfillment in life, bases much of his message on case studies of companies that have successfully created a culture in which both the leadership and the workforce are valued.

Bridge will focus his message on the three areas he believes go hand-in-hand: motivating employees, increasing productivity and handling stress.

Cost for the summit is $60. To register or to find out more information, visit http://www.bgwib.com/bo_ws2014.html or call Owen McNeill, business services manager, at 859-269-8021.
