Salt Festival seeking vendors for annual event

UNION, Ky. (Aug. 26, 2014) — Big Bone Lick State Historic Site is looking for vendors for the annual Salt Festival scheduled for Oct. 17-19.

The Salt Festival annually features demonstrations of pioneer living and skills, folk and bluegrass music, salt making, and Native American skills and traditions.

Vendor areas feature handmade crafts, Native American skills and relics, prehistoric Ice Age artifacts, and a variety of foods.

The park is located 22 miles southwest of Covington on KY 338, off U.S. 42/127 and Interstates 71 and 75.  From I-75 north or south, take Exit 175 to KY 338. From I-71 north or south, take Exit 62 to 127N/42E to KY 338.
