Churchill Downs extends ‘Pigskins and Ponies’ event

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Sept. 18, 2014) — Showing college football on the big screen was so popular last weekend at Churchill Downs that track officials said its “Pigskins and Ponies” event has been extended for Sept. 20 and 27.

On Saturday, the noon game featuring Georgia Tech at Virginia and the 3:30 p.m. game featuring Louisville at Florida International will be shown on the 16×20 Plaza video screen.

On Sept. 27 the noon game featuring Vanderbilt at Kentucky and the 3:30 game featuring Wake Forest at Louisville also will be shown.

Admission is free to college students with a current ID and $3 for all others. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
