Ghost Walk to have special tour for deaf and hard of hearing

RICHMOND, Ky. (Oct. 10, 2014) — White Hall State Historic Site will host a special event for deaf and hard of hearing guests as part of the “Ghost Walk” program scheduled for Oct. 17.

Every Halloween season, the historic site hosts the Ghost Walk with actors telling ghost stories about the historic home and its inhabitants, the Clay family. During the 8:15 p.m. tour on Oct. 17, the guide will be signing her role and an American Sign Language interpreter will be available for each scene.

The walk is a theatrical history lesson and is very family friendly. Tickets are $10 per person and are by reservation only. Tours run from 7-9:30 p.m. from Oct. 16-18 and 24-25. For more information call (859) 623-9178.
