Fairs are Oct. 21 in Georgetown and Oct. 28 in Richmond
LEXINGTON, Ky. (Oct. 10, 2014) — A pair of job fairs are scheduled for later this month. The Georgetown Career Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 21 at First Baptist Church, 1330 Lexington Road. The Richmond Career Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Oct. 28 at the Armed Forces Reserve Center, 233 Battlefield Highway.
About 700 job openings are expected at each event, said Staci May, marketing and communication specialist for the Bluegrass Workforce Investment Board, which is co-sponsoring the event.
Veterans will get “priority service” entry from 10-11 a.m. at the Georgetown Career Fair and 10-11 a.m. at the Richmond Career Fair.
