Maysville Community and Technical College names finalists for president/CEO

Faculty, staff, students, public can meet candidates from Nov. 6-7

VERSAILLES, Ky. (Oct. 21, 2014) — Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) President Michael B. McCall announced today the names of four candidates to be interviewed for the position of President/CEO at Maysville Community and Technical College (MCTC).

  • Jennifer S. Gentry, Vice Chancellor for Institutional Advancement; Virginia Community College System; Richmond, Va.
  • Mark O. Kinlaw, Vice President for Instruction and Support Services, Robeson Community College; Lumberton, N.C.
  • Juston C. Pate, Chief Academic Officer, Maysville Community and Technical College; Maysville, Ky.
  • Stephen M. Vacik, President, Colby Community College; Colby, Kan.

The candidates are scheduled for on-campus visits and interviews Nov. 6-7. During those visits candidates will meet with MCTC faculty, staff, students and the MCTC Board of Directors. The general public will also have an opportunity to meet the candidates at designated community forums. A schedule of the community forums will be announced once itineraries are confirmed.

The new president will begin on Jan. 1, 2015.
