MIDWAY, Ky. (Dec. 8, 2014) — Midway College associate professor Dr. Janice L. Holland has been appointed to the Board of the National Association of Equine Affiliated Academics (NAEAA), an organization that provides resources for the advancement of equine academic programs.

Holland is the coordinator of Midway’s Equine Studies program. In her new leadership role with NAEAA, she will work with the association to advance its goals of providing a venue for exchanging ideas, assisting colleges and programs with improvement measures, developing a database of best practices, helping faculty and staff develop program quality standards, developing internship opportunities for students, and fostering faculty exchange programs among member institutions.

“I am excited to have been offered a board position with NAEAA,” Holland said. “I have been an active member since its inception in 2009 and fully support the goals of the organization. The resources available through NAEAA will truly help in the advancement of equine academic programs both nationwide and internationally.”
