LEXINGTON, Ky. (Jan. 26, 2015) — KentuckyOne Health’s pediatric ophthalmology will host an open house at its Saint Joseph East location from 4:30-7 p.m. on Tuesday.
KentuckyOne Health recently began offering pediatric ophthalmology care and the open house will provide an inside look at this new service and give potential patients the opportunity to meet with physicians.
Palak Wall, MD, who is board certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and specializes in pediatric ophthalmological care, will be available at the open house to meet with guests.
Pediatric ophthalmologists diagnose, treat and manage all children’s eye issues. They perform eye exams and surgical procedures; treat crossed eyes, wandering eyes, blocked tear ducts and care for eye injuries; prescribe glasses or contacts; and diagnose visual processing disorders.
