Maximum funds are $50,000
FRANKFORT, Ky. (March 31, 2015) — Funding up to $50,000 is available from the Kentucky Department of Agriculture for producing and marketing “specialty crops,” Agriculture Commissioner James Comer announced.
Specialty crops are defined as fruits, vegetables, tree nuts, dried fruits, horticulture and nursery crops.
The program is funded by a $291,348.02 Specialty Crop Block Grant from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
