Maker’s Mark to release commemorative bottle featuring Adolph Rupp

Will support CATS program

LEXINGTON, Ky. (April 1, 2015) — A new commemorative Maker’s Mark bottle featuring coaching legend Adolph Rupp will go on sale Friday. Sales of the bottle will help benefit CATS, a program that supports student athletes.

Money will be used to build a new tutoring center at UK, which will be located within the new football training complex adjacent to Commonwealth Stadium.

An autograph session will be held at Keeneland at 8 a.m. on April 10, featuring four of Coach Rupp’s All American players who are also in the Naismith Hall of Fame: Cliff Hagan, Dan Issel, Frank Ramsey, and Adrian “Odie” Smith.

Former players will only sign the commemorative bottles.
