Truck body manufacturer to create 14 new jobs
FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 29, 2015) — Gov. Steve Beshear today announced that Hercules, a manufacturer of van bodies and trailers, will hire 14 new employees.
Hercules is making the investment in its 65,000-s.f. facility on Bob Posey Street to keep up with growing demand for its products. The hiring is expected to be completed over the next five years.
Hercules started in Evansville, Ind., in 1902 and relocated to Henderson in 1957. The company manufactures insulated and dry freight van bodies and trailers, which are sold to customers throughout the eastern and central U.S. The company’s products serve a variety of industries, including ice cream, meat, food service, ice, pipe relining, appliances, commercial dish washing and laundry services and document destruction.
