Available to local governments and nonprofit organizations
FRANKFORT, Ky. (June 1, 2015) — Local governments and nonprofits have until July 15 to apply for grants from the Kentucky Animal Control Advisory Board to help Kentuckians spay and neuter their pets.
Applicants may request up to $2,500. Applicants must submit information about their operation and describe the spay/neuter programs that will utilize the funding.
The Kentucky Animal Control Advisory Board is administered by the Kentucky Department of Agriculture. The spay/neuter program is funded by sales of Kentucky’s spay/neuter license plate.
