BlueDEF Velocity Tour Finals to debut at KFC Yum! Center
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 1, 2015) — Professional Bull Riders has created a new event that will debut in Louisville. The BlueDEF Velocity Tour Finals (BDVT) is scheduled from Oct. 9-10 at the KFC Yum! Center.
The event is the last opportunity for the world’s best bull riders to gain the coveted points needed to move up in the PBR world standings and qualify for the prestigious $2.3 million Built Ford Tough World Finals in Las Vegas from Oct. 21-25.
The bull rider who earns the most world points throughout the PBR’s 2015 season will become the PBR World Champion and win a $1 million bonus.
In addition to American stars, the BDVT Finals will also include the top competitors from the PBR’s international tours—PBR Australia, PBR Brazil, PBR Canada and PBR Mexico. The total purse for the BDVT Finals is $100,000.
