William A. Blodgett, Jr. has been on board since 2011
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 3, 2015) — Kentucky Opera has appointment of William A. Blodgett, Jr. as its new president of the board. Blodgett has been on the board since 2011, serving on the Finance Committee and chairing the Development Committee for the past two seasons.
Blodgett is a member of the Labor & Employment, Litigation and Corporate Departments of Dinsmore & Shohl LLP. He previously, was the Senior Vice President, Deputy General Counsel, and Chief Compliance Officer with Brown-Forman Corporation and currently serves as Brown-Forman’s representative to the Products Liability Advisory Council.
Also joining the Kentucky Opera Board: Henry H. Kuehn, who will participate in the Marketing and Finance Committees; Shawn P. Malone, GE Appliances Executive Sourcing Leader, who will participate in the Development and Finance committees; Celia R. Manlove, Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield Medicaid President, who will serve as the Development Vice Chair; Gail B. Tway, PNC Bank Wealth Management Vice President and Senior Investment Advisor, who will serve on the Education and Finance committees; Abby Weleski, PNC Bank Stonybrook Branch Manager and Assistant Vice President, who will serve on the Finance committee; and Maria White, Contag!ous Co-owner and COO, who will serve on the Carnevale committee and as Marketing Vice Chair.
