(June 11, 2015) — The American Veterans Traveling Tribute Vietnam Wall will be in Lexington from July 9-12, Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairs Commissioner Heather French Henry and Mayor Jim Gray announced today.

The replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington will be on display at the Kentucky Horse Park. There is no admission or parking fee for those visiting the Wall. The Wall will be open 24 hours a day beginning at noon, July 9, and continuing through 3 p.m. on July 12.

The replica is about 300 feet long. Like the Washington memorial, it displays the names of veterans who died during the war. Those who want to make a pencil rubbing of the name of a loved one can do so on the traveling wall.
