Pikeville, Ky. – Alltech and state and local officials will be on hand Thursday in Pikeville, Ky., for the official groundbreaking of Alltech’s Dueling Barrels brewery and distillery.
Dueling Barrels Brewing & Distilling Co. in downtown Pikeville will include both a brewery and distillery at the site. The distillery will represent a sophisticated moonshine distillery with a visitor’s center. The unique visitor experience will celebrate Appalachian history and the role of moonshine.
The facility will produce Dueling Barrels Bourbon, Dueling Barrels Moonshine and Pikeville Ale. While Dueling Barrels will be part of the Alltech Beverage Division, its manufacturing and production will be unique from that of Alltech Lexington Brewing & Distilling Co. in Lexington.
