“Oak, Toast, & Two Aging Barrels,” set for Oct. 9-11, is being organized by The Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar and and The Mainstrasse Village Association. The education- and tasting-based event will take place on the promenade at Sixth and Main streets. Micro, craft and large-scale distillery offerings will be represented.

Friday night, the event will kick off with a ticketed, family-style dinner by a MainStrasse restaurant. A closing dinner on Sunday will wrap up the festival.

Programming, including seminars, presentations, meet and greets with master distillers, a cocktail competition and live music, will be offered throughout the weekend.

The Old Kentucky Bourbon Bar is a Wellmann’s Brands bar. Molly Wellmann, owner and bourbon aficionado, will guide the event planning.

Admission to the festival and to individual programming will be ticketed, with prices TBA. Ticket sales and additional information will be released via social media in the coming weeks.
