Columbia Gas of Kentucky hires new director of finances

Lexington, Ky. – Columbia Gas of Kentucky has hired Linda L. Rumpke as the company’s new director of finance. Rumpke comes to Columbia Gas from Traditional Bank where she served as senior vice president and commercial lender.

Rumpke has an extensive background in financial leadership, including having served as president of the Central Kentucky market of JP Morgan Chase Bank and as commission of finance for the Lexington-Fayette Urban County Government during the administration of former Mayor Jim Newberry.

A native of Dayton, Ohio, Rumpke earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Dayton. She is active on many boards, including the Kentucky Community & Technical College System (KCTCS), Leadership Kentucky and the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence. Rumpke was appointed by Kentucky Governor Steve Beshear to the Kentucky Agriculture Finance Corp.
