Centre leads digital discussion for Oct. 6 gubernatorial debate

Danville, Ky. – Centre College will welcome Kentucky Attorney General Jack Conway and Louisville businessman Matt Bevin to campus for a gubernatorial debate in Newlin Hall at the Norton Center for the Arts on Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 6:45 p.m.

Building on its national reputation as a place where important conversations occur, Centre will lead the digital discussion surrounding the debate by accepting questions via a social media pool.

Sponsored by AARP, the debate will be moderated by news anchor Scott Reynolds and broadcast live statewide on both television and radio stations by media partner WAVE 3 News. This is the fourth time in history that the College has hosted a debate, having hosted Vice Presidential Debates both in 2000 and 2012, and a gubernatorial debate in 2007.
