McKendree University’s MBA program nationally ranked for affordability

Ranked 22nd by Human Resources MBA

RADCLIFF, Ky. (Nov. 30, 2015) — McKendree University’s master’s in business administration (MBA) at its Radcliff campus has been ranked the nation’s 22nd most affordable human resources MBA program by Human Resources MBA.

Human-Resources-MBA-Most-Affordable-HR-MBA-Programs-20151-300x300Rankings were created using the National Center for Education Statistics’ College Navigator database. From more than 100 schools offering advanced HR-related degrees, the 50 most affordable accredited programs were selected based on graduate tuition.

McKendree’s program focuses on the knowledge, analytical skills, and leadership abilities needed for senior-level HR jobs. The 36-credit curriculum has been formally aligned with the Society for Human Resource Management’s (SHRM) guidelines to equip graduates for human resources certification.

“McKendree’s MBA program has a tradition of being recognized for both quality and affordability,” said Dr. Roxanne Beard, director of the university’s MBA program and associate professor of organization behavior and leadership. “Nationwide, the need for human resource professionals continues to grow, as there are more positions available than we have trained professionals. Because our curriculum is built on the SHRM Assurance of Learning criteria, employers know our graduates are well prepared to step in and lead this important function.”

Tuition for the program is about $8,810 per year. The most affordable program was Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, Mass.
