ERLANGER, Ky. (Feb. 5, 2016) — The Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) in partnership with the Kentucky Career Center is hosting a hiring event on Wednesday from 1-4 p.m. at the airport’s new corporate headquarters, CVG Centre, 77 Comair Boulevard, Erlanger 41018.
The event will feature 26 airport employers hiring about 350 positions in:
- A&P licensed mechanics
- Catering production and delivery
- Custodial maintenance
- Customer service and retail sales
- Hospitality/restaurants
- Protective services
- Parking/shuttle services and car rentals
- Plane and vehicle detailing
- Ramp and ticketing agents
Shuttle service will be provided for 2X-Airport Express TANK riders at 1:30, 2:15 and 3 p.m. from the Main Terminal to CVG Centre. Participants can board the shuttle directly from the TANK drop-off point.
CVG recently celebrated its largest passenger growth since 2005 with an increase of 16 percent. Cargo volumes also grew by more than 11 percent to more than 800,000 tons. The hometown airport leads the region with 53 nonstop airport destinations and is the ninth largest cargo airport in North America.
