Public event will be held in Frankfort
FRANKFORT, Ky. (April 6, 2016) — The Kentucky Environmental Quality Commission (EQC) is hosting its annual Earth Day awards ceremony during this year’s state government Earth Day Celebration.
The event, which includes environment-related educational booths and demonstrations, will begin at 10:30 a.m. on April 21 in the Brown-Forman Room at the Thomas D. Clark Center for Kentucky History in Frankfort.
The commission recognizes individuals and entities for efforts to protect the environment and honors them during a ceremony in Frankfort each year during the month of April.
