Operates Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays
COVINGTON, Ky. (May 20, 2016) — Allegiant Air held a ribbon cutting today for its new non-stop service from CVG to Destin/Ft. Walton Beach. Nonstop service from CVG to Destin/Ft. Walton Beach will operate three times a week on Monday, Friday and Saturday through August and two times a week on Monday and Friday through Oct. 17
“We’re very excited to launch our 13th route from Cincinnati to a new destination in Florida,” said Jude Bricker, Allegiant chief operating officer. “We attribute our rapid growth in Cincinnati to the overwhelming demand we’ve seen from local travelers for our low-cost, nonstop flights. We’re pleased to add yet another destination to the list of cities served from CVG.”
Allegiant began service out of CVG in February 2014 and will now operate 51 flights a week to 13 different destinations.
“Allegiant’s growth at CVG over the past two years has been very strong,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG. “Destin is an incredibly popular vacation destination for the Tri-State area, and we’re excited that Allegiant has added this low-cost option.”
