LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 14, 2016) – Good Foods Co-op, 455 Southland Drive in Lexington, is offering a free summer sampling cookout from 5 – 7 p.m. Friday, June 24. The evening will include live music, a family-friendly atmosphere, and generous samples featuring the best the season has to offer.
Marksbury Farm will grill local, 100% grass fed and finished beef sliders dressed with a wide variety of condiments. A vegan/vegetarian option will also be available.
Other sampling stations will include: house-made black bean and corn salad, watermelon slices, local Spuds potato chips, and house-made whole wheat chocolate chip cookies.
Iced house-made café drinks and snow cones will also be available.
Tripping Roots will be the musical guest.
Good Foods Co-op is a locally owned and operated cooperative business where everyone is welcome to shop. Good Foods has served the Lexington community since 1972.
