UK looks to add to NBA-high 22 players at tonight’s draft

LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 23, 2016) — The University of Kentucky has 22 players that appeared in NBA games during the 2015-16 season, more than any other college. That number should go up tonight when the NBA holds its annual draft. The draft begins at 7 p.m. on ESPN.

CBS Sports ranks Jamal Murray the sixth best player in this year’s draft, Skal Labissiere is No. 11, Tyler Ulis No. 18 and Alex Poythress No. 88.

Kentucky has had 10 players selected in the top 10, 13 in the top 15 and 19 in the first round of the draft in the last six years, according to the NCAA.
