LEXINGTON, Ky. (June 29, 2016) – The World Trade Center Kentucky (WTC-KY) has partnered with Bellarmine University’s W. Fielding Rubel School of Business to offer a global business course through the University’s Master of Business Administration program. Students who successfully completed this course were awarded a “Global Commerce and Strategy Specialist Certificate” from Bellarmine University and the WTC-KY.
The course, MBA 721 – Issues in Global Management, ran from May 20 through June 11 and incorporated speakers from UPS, Papa Johns, WTC-KY, US Export Assistance Center, DHL, Rev-A-Shelf, EXIM Bank, POS on Cloud, Bannockburn Global Forex, Zoeller Pump and Louisville Forward.
Issues in Global Management was designed on an international curriculum and focused on our region’s roles and resources within the global context and provided students with training on U.S. trade policy and tools, international market research, cross-cultural communication, international legal considerations, financing, and more.
