World Trade Center Kentucky members in Washington D.C. to talk trade agreements

Ky. exports to 198 countries every day

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Sept. 23, 2016) — The World Trade Center Kentucky (WTC-KY), in partnership with the Kentucky District Export Council (KDEC), is in Washington D.C. today meeting with Senatorial and Congressional staff. Their objective is to review and argue for trade agreements and topics beneficial to Kentucky 3,000 plus businesses engaged in international trade.

“Kentucky exports to 198 countries each day, and our discussions on the passage of TPP and T-TIP are relevant and critical to our State’s continued record success in exports,” said Zachary Scott, board chairman of WTC-KY.

The delegation in our nation’s capital today includes: Robert Brown, dean, Bellarmine University’s Rubel School of Business; Bob Helton, economic development manager, RJ Corman Railroad Group; Sherry Mulkins, vice president of Client Outreach & Development, World Trade Center Kentucky; Mike Reynolds, corporate controller, LBX Company, LLC; Zachary Scott, board chairman, World Trade Center Kentucky; Ted Warren COO, Lectrodryer, LLC; and Edwin Webb, president & CEO, World Trade Center Kentucky.
