Hotel Covington celebrates opening with ribbon cutting Tuesday

Hotel Covington will celebrate its grand opening with a ribbon cutting at 11 a.m. Tuesday at 638 Madison Avenue in Covington.

Hotel Covington will provide the area with an upscale hotel with 114 guest rooms. The hotel immerses visitors into Covington’s culture, while also serving as a social anchor for the surrounding community.

The hotel features numerous amenities and dining options, including Coppin’s Restaurant & Bar, The Coffee Bar and The Walk Up.

In bringing Hotel Covington to life in Northern Kentucky’s Coppin’s Department Store, Aparium Hotel Group and The Salyers Group drew inspiration from the outpouring of civic pride in local institutions and landmark history to curate a destination for those new to Covington, as well as those deeply familiar with the city, according to a City of Covington news release.

Hotel Covington is made up of local partnerships to usher guests and visitors into the heart of the city through food, drink and craft. Several of these partnerships include Braxton Brewery, Carabello Coffee and Rookwood Pottery.
