Writing Eastern Kentucky Conference set for Nov. 5 in Morehead

MOREHEAD, Ky. (Oct. 20, 2016) — Morehead State University will host the 2016 Writing Eastern Kentucky Conference from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Nov. 5.

The conference, sponsored annually by the Morehead State Writing Project, is targeted to meet the needs of both creative writers as well as teachers of academic writing. Creative writing sessions on poetry, fiction and nonfiction writing will be available.

For educators, the conference features sessions that address the needs of primary, secondary and post-secondary students.

Six hours professional development credit will be awarded for completing the conference.

Pre-registration is $50 or $60 the day of the event. MSU undergraduate students, staff and faculty along with MWP Fellows will be admitted for half-price. Lunch is not included.
