Governor makes appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions

FRANKFORT, Ky. (Jan. 13, 2017) – Gov. Matt Bevin has made the following appointments to Kentucky Boards and Commissions:

Betty B. Cook, Janet L. Stephens and Angela Denise Minter have been appointed to the Governor’s Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee.

Betty B. Cook, of Somerset, to replace Dwight Sears, of Somerset, who has resigned. Ms. Cook shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending April 14, 2022. Ms. Cook is a retired 20-year employee of Somerset Independent Schools.
Janet L. Stephens, of Scottsville, to replace Mark Anthony Wilson, of Fancy Farm, who has resigned. Ms. Stephens shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending April 14, 2020. Ms. Stephens is a pharmacist.
Angela Denise Minter, of Louisville, to replace Eugene Jeffrey Mosley, of Louisville, who has resigned. Mrs. Minter shall serve for the remainder of the unexpired term ending April 14, 2018. Mrs. Minter is the Executive Director of Sisters for Life.

The Governor’s Postsecondary Education Nominating Committee consists of seven members representing each of the Supreme Court districts who are appointed by the Governor.
