Coastal Cloud custom cloud-based business services consulting expands to Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (February 8, 2017) – Coastal Cloud, an IT consulting company that deliver innovative business solutions built on a leading open source cloud platform, launched a Louisville office Wednesday that will serve Kentucky and the Midwest.

The new Kentucky operation is led by Erik Dunnigan, former head of the Kentucky Cabinet for Economic Development. Coastal Cloud provides business support and operations software services for clients in a range of industries, including education, communications, high tech, economic development, real estate, professional services, manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, non-profits, and state and local government.

Coastal Cloud was founded in 2012 in Palm Coast, Fla., by former longtime managers with Accenture, the global business services consultant. It has 115 employees. The Louisville office expects to staff up to around 30 within two years, said Dunnigan, managing director. Coastal Cloud designs and deploys software tailored to improve a range of enterprise operations, including customer relationship management, business workflow, internal and external communications, analytics enterprise resource planning and automated marketing.

Coastal Cloud also trains client personnel and provides ongoing support and service The company brings clients in the central U.S. the proven methods ad expertise of its privately held parent company.
