UofL School of Dentistry ranked 13th in grant funding at more than $4M in FY 2016

LEXINGTON, Ky. (Feb. 27, 2017) — The University of Louisville School of Dentistry is 13th in the nation in the National Institute of Dental and Craniofacial Research (NIDCR) funding for 2016, at $4,037,024 during fiscal year 2016. UofL ranked 17th last year.

“The UofL School of Dentistry is punching above its weight in securing National Institutes of Health research grants. This is an amazing achievement and a reflection of the tireless efforts of the talented research faculty,” said T. Gerard Bradley, dean of the UofL School of Dentistry.

The College of Dentistry at the University of Kentucky ranks 40th at $301,000. The University of Alabama-Birmingham led the list at $11,458,807.
