God’s Pantry Food Bank’s annual Taste of the Bluegrass event tickets on sale now

downloadLEXINGTON – Tickets for God’s Pantry Food Bank’s annual event, the Taste of the Bluegrass, are on sale. The 2017 Taste of the Bluegrass showcases the very best food and drinks Central Kentucky has to offer. More than 60 great food and beverage purveyors; plus, live music, and a silent auction all in one place!

On Friday, May 19, 2017 hundreds will gather for the premier tasting event of the Bluegrass at Keeneland’s Keene Barn and Entertainment Center.

The event is presented by Quantrell Auto Group, with several supporting sponsorships still available at a variety of levels. Potential sponsors and vendors interested in showcasing their food and beverages at the event should contact Julia Curry at the Food Bank by calling 255-6592 to secure a position at this signature event.

Tickets for the 2017 Taste of the Bluegrass are available online at www.GodsPantryFoodBank.org. An early bird ticket price of $75 per person until May 1 is available. Tickets for a table of 10 are $1,500, which include early entry passes. The individual ticket price increase to $85 per person after May 1.

Last year Taste of the Bluegrass event generated more than $165,000, which God’s Pantry Food Bank put right to work. For every $10 given, the Food Bank is able to distribute enough food for more than 82 meals. That means more than 1 million meals found their way to families in need as a result of the Taste of the Bluegrass last year.
