American Airlines increases number of seats from CVG to Dallas/Fort Worth

Two flights will seat 140, two 76

HEBRON, Ky., (April 4, 2017) — American Airlines is upgrading aircraft at Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport (CVG) to include increased seating capacity for direct flights to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW).

American will operate two of the four daily flights between CVG and DFW with mainline MD-80 aircraft, which seat 140 passengers. The other two daily flights will be services using the Embraer 175, which seats 76 passengers. These upgrades will add 52 more seats per day in CVG. The larger aircraft offers customers the choice of first class seats, main cabin extra seats with more legroom and Wi-Fi on select aircraft.

With this upgraded schedule, American will now serve 8 destinations from CVG with 33 peak-day flights. American is investing $3 billion in the customer experience adding more all-aisle access; fully lie-flat seats; international Wi-Fi; more in-flight entertainment options and power outlets; and improved food and beverage offerings.
