LaGRANGE, Ky. (April 21, 2017) – Another new gaming and entertainment complex is heading toward completion thanks in part to Encompass Develop, Design, and Construct.

Tropicana Evansville, soon to become Indiana’s first land-based casino, broke ground on a new 75,000-s.f. entertainment complex in July of last year.

The final structural beam was installed Friday morning during a celebration marking this stage in the expansion project. Encompass has a dual role on the project acting as owner’s representative and construction manager.

“Tropicana Evansville, The City of Evansville, and the local building trades have been fantastic to work with on this project every step of the way,” said John Stewart, Encompass president. “Along with these partners, we have been able to maintain the promised schedule and are excited about bringing this project to a successful completion later this year.”

The expansion project includes 45,000-s.f. of new gaming space, Tap House restaurant and bar, a deli, and a combination lounge/entertainment venue. The new facility is expected to open in late 2017.
