Leadership Enrichment and Development class announced

10 month program

FLORENCE, Ky. (May 4, 2017) — Gateway Community and Technical College and the Gateway Foundation announced today the 2017-18 Leadership Enrichment and Development (LEAD) XI class.

The program is designed as a personal and professional development experience for employees to explore their potential for leadership in various college roles. Participants are encouraged to engage in college leadership roles after the program. All faculty and staff members may apply for the 10 month program, which begins every August and runs through May.

The curriculum for this year is crafted by a steering committee of alumni and will again explore the American Association of Community Colleges (AACC) Competencies for Community College Leaders including organizational strategy, institutional finance, research, fundraising, and resource management, communication and collaboration.

Sessions will be held throughout Northern Kentucky to familiarize the class with community resources and will also include a visit to Frankfort and the Kentucky Community and Technical College System office in Versailles.
