Clark County rest area named state’s best-maintained for second year in a row

FRANKFORT, Ky. (May 18, 2017) – Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) officials will honor employees at the Interstate 64 eastbound rest area in Clark County at 2 p.m. on Friday.

The facility has been recognized for two years in a row as the state’s best-maintained rest area for outstanding service and cleanliness.

The award is based on regular maintenance inspections and is presented annually by KYTC.  The event will be held onsite at the facility, located on I-64 between mile markers 98 and 99.
