Allegiant adds non-stop service from Louisville to six destinations

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (May 24, 2017) — Louisville Regional Airport Authority recently celebrated the beginning of new non-stop service by Allegiant from Louisville International Airport (SDF) to six previously unserved destinations.

Twice-weekly year round service to:

  • Fort Lauderdale
  • Fort Myers-Punta Gorda
  • Orlando-Sanford
  • Tampa-St. Petersburg

Seasonal service to:

  • Savannah-Hilton Head (through August)
  • Destin-Fort Walton Beach (through October)

“The addition of a new airline and more than $10 million in recent upgrades and improvements at Louisville International Airport plays a vital role in our city’s economic development,” said Louisville Mayor Greg Fischer. “We’re excited to add these affordable, year-round flights and look forward to welcoming even more visitors to our authentic city.”

With the addition of the six flights from Allegiant, non-stop service from Louisville International Airport is now available to 27 destinations, including 17 of the region’s Top 20 domestic markets.
