Hemmer collaborates with VanTrust again on spec distribution facility

FORT MITCHELL, Ky. (Aug. 28, 2017) ‒ Paul Hemmer Company has once again been selected as contractor by VanTrust Real Estate as construction is underway on a half-million-s.f. speculative distribution center, situated on land adjacent to by the Greater Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG).

Hemmer has previously worked with VanTrust on similar buildings in the Columbus and Louisville markets, and recently completed a facility on Mt. Zion Road in Boone County.

The building, called Logistics One is located on Ted Bushelman Boulevard in Florence and will meet the increased demand of clients interested in leasing space in this desirable Northern Kentucky location.

In addition to the double-loaded, 540,000 s.f. building, the project requires parking and utilities, including telecommunications, electricity, sewage, wastewater and lighting.

Construction is scheduled for completion in January 2018.

Kevin Markesbery is Hemmer’s project manager, while Ron Heck is serving as superintendent. RED Architecture and Planning of Columbus is the project’s architect. The building is marketed by Doug Whitten with CBRE.
