FRANKFORT, Ky. (Oct. 9, 2017) – Capital Link Consultants has announced that Roy A. Potts has joined the firm.
Potts recently retired from the Coca-Cola Company after a distinguished career of 41 years. In addition to his extensive experience in sales, marketing and operations, Potts served Coca-Cola as director of government affairs and communications for the past 14 years.
Over his career, Potts received the Sales & Marketing Executive’s Distinguished Sales Award, the Spirit of America Award presented by the National Grocers Association, and the Mayor’s Distinguished Service Award from two mayors.
In his community, Potts provided leadership as the 2007 KY Derby Festival chairman, chairman of Brightside, and served additional boards that include Louisville Zoo Foundation board, Louisville Sports Commission, and Archbishop Kurtz’s Salute to the Catholic Alumni Committee. Roy has also served as president of both the KY and Hoosier Beverage associations.
Throughout most of his corporate career, Potts has been a football referee with a full-time spot on officiating crews for the Southeastern Conference since 2006.
