Mission Crestwood changes name to HighPoint Charitable Services

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (Oct. 20, 2017) — Mission Crestwood has changed its name to HighPoint Charitable Services and will move into its new location Oct 21.

HighPoint Charitable Services is a completely volunteer-driven organization that offers food, clothing and other essentials to individuals and families on the verge of poverty and homelessness.

HighPoint Charitable Services exists to meet the ever-growing needs of individuals and families in our community. It serves more than 3,000 families, of which 2,500 visit HighPoint Charitable Services on a regular basis. HighPoint Charitable Services is making a difference in the lives of those caught in the cycle of hunger, poverty and homelessness. Families who might be separated because of the unavailability of life’s most basic needs are given the chance to remain together.

“The assistance and support provided seeks to meet the physical and spiritual needs of those we serve,” said Rusti Morrison, executive director. “We will continue to seek donations from those committed to helping end the cycle of poverty.”

HighPoint Charitable Services will open the doors at its new location Oct. 30.
