Ted Bates Jr. has joined Hilliard Lyons as
vice president and portfolio manager for Hilliard Lyons Trust Company.

Nana Mensah has been appointed as
president and chief operating officer for Long John Silver's Restaurants Inc.

Kevin Surrett has joined Rehability
Corporation as a physical therapy assistant.
MEDIA
Wayne M. Martin been appointed regional
vice president of Gray Communications Systems, Inc. and president of WVLT-TV in Knoxville,
Tennessee. He will remain a president of Gray Kentucky Television, Inc., which operates
WKYT-TV (Lexington) and WYMT-TV (Hazard), and will also continue in his role as general
manager of WKYT-TV.
Curt Mathies has assumed the role of
program and music director at WUKY (FM 91.3). Brian Wright has been named
as the station's news director.
TECHNOLOGY
The following individuals have joined Software Information
Systems:
Monica Allen, administrative assistant
Carlos Oliva, senior consultant
Tracey Megerle, client marketing representative
Paul A. Rooke has been named president of
Lexmark International, Inc.'s imaging solutions division. Rooke, who will also be a vice
president of the corporation, succeeds Tom Lamb, who recently became an executive vice
president of Lexmark.
Dusty Baker and Ernie Franklin
have joined Future Phase Technology, Inc. (formerly Bitwise Technology). Baker will serve
in the position of customer engineer; Franklin has been hired as an account manager.
OTHER
Joe Walters has been named vice president
of operations for Kentucky Technology Service, Inc. (KTS). Walters also serves as director
of the Kentucky Quality Council, a division of KTS. Debbie Kimbrough has
been appointed business development manager for KTS.
Kevin R. Smith has been named president
and chief executive officer for Community Ventures Corporation (CVC), a non-profit
community development organization designed to create economic opportunities for women,
minority and low-income individuals. Other recent CVC appointments include: David
R. Collins, vice president, lending; Donna Major, vice
president, housing development; Raymond Mason, vice president, job
development; Tyrone Tyra, vice president, business development; Shirie
Mack, business development specialist; Richard Moloney, housing
development specialist; John Zangari, business development specialist
Interior Services Corporation has announced the following
promotions: Jimmy S. DeMyer has been named executive vice president of
the company is well as general manager of the Bruce Wholesale Flooring division, a
distributor of full-line floor covering products. Cynthia F. Ryle and Darlene
C. Huffman have both been named as vice presidents in the Interspace Limited
division, a commercial furnishing and interior design firm. David C. Feeback
has been named treasurer of Interior Services Corporation.
William S. Collier has been named vice
president and general manager of U.S. distributor sales for The Valvoline Company.
Kevin Reardon has been named as president
of CLARK Material Handling Company's new Asian subsidiary, CLARK Material Handling Asia
(CMHA). CMHA is based in Changwon, South Korea and was formed as a result of CLARK's
recent acquisition of Samsung Heavy Industries Co., Ltd.'s forklift business.
