Dinsmore attorney elected to Blackacre’s board of directors

LOUISVILLE (May 2, 2018) — Dinsmore & Shohl’s Marisa E. Main has been elected to the Blackacre Conservancy’s board of directors for a three-year term.

Blackacre’s board is comprised of members dedicated to preserving the history of the pre-Civil War, 18th-century farmhouse as well as promoting outdoor and environmental education throughout Kentucky.

Main also serves her community as a Ronald McDonald House volunteer, student trial advocacy competition judge, and a youth volleyball coach.

Main practices in the litigation department with a focus on commercial litigation. She represents clients in state and federal courts in complex business and commercial matters, including contract disputes, banking litigation, and insurance coverage litigation.

Main earned her J.D. from the University of Akron School of Law with summa cum laude honors.
